FAQ

Short answers to what colleagues ask most.

Who can join?

Dentists and dental technicians. Every member goes through manual credential verification before gaining access to clinical cases.

How long does verification take?

Typically 1–2 business days. You get an in-app notification and an e-mail either way; if we reject, the reviewer note tells you exactly what to fix.

What files can I upload?

Photos (JPEG, PNG, WebP up to 25 MB), 3D scans (STL, PLY, OBJ up to 200 MB) and PDFs (up to 50 MB). DICOM/CBCT series support is on the roadmap — export a surface scan (STL) from your CBCT software in the meantime.

Is my case public?

Never. Cases are visible only inside the platform, to the audience you choose: matching specialists, all verified professionals, or an invite-only circle.

Chat vs expert opinion — what's the difference?

Chat is for quick clarifications and disappears into the scroll. An expert opinion is a structured, votable contribution with your name on it — publish one when you take a professional stance.

What does 'most helpful' mean clinically?

Nothing clinical — it records which opinion the case owner found most useful. Treatment decisions always remain with the treating clinician.

Can I remove my data?

Yes. Export it as JSON or delete your account under Settings → Privacy & data. Deletion detaches your identity immediately.

Is there an API?

Yes — create a personal access token under Settings → API access and see the API reference in these docs. Everything the web app does is available over JSON.

How much does it cost?

The platform is free during the beta period for verified professionals.
