Terms of Use

Smatch Cases (the "Platform") is a professional collaboration service for verified dental professionals operated by Smatch. By creating an account you accept these terms.

1. Professional use only

• The Platform is exclusively for dentists and dental technicians.
• Access to clinical cases requires successful professional verification.
• Accounts are personal and may not be shared.

2. Clinical responsibility

• The Platform enables communication and visualization between professionals. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations or clinical decision support.
• Opinions published by members are professional exchanges, not medical advice. The treating clinician retains full responsibility for every clinical decision.
• Automated processing (e.g. technical alignment of 3D layers) is a convenience feature and must always be verified by the user.

3. Patient data

• You must only upload case material that is de-identified or for which you hold a valid legal basis, and you confirm this for every case you publish.
• Directly identifying patient data is prohibited in descriptions, chat and files.
• Cases are never public and must not be redistributed outside the Platform.

4. Conduct

• Be professional and respectful; moderation may restrict content or accounts that violate these terms.
• Vote manipulation, advertising and spam are prohibited.

5. Service

• The service is provided "as is" during the beta period, without availability guarantees.
• You can export your data and delete your account at any time in Settings.
